[ BLAKE'S POV ]

She looked up at me with terror as If I was the devil from hell who had come to take her soul with me. She started to back up instinctively from my approach. I paused for a moment before resuming my walk over to her bed.

She squeezed her eyes shut, almost thinking of me as a daytime murderer. I sighed softly and started to fix her loose catheter. It almost slipped out from her vein since she was moving too much.

I adjusted those medical pipes and fixed everything with much caution. She reopened her eyes after a while, mouth agape in awe as she glanced up at my face with a pair of surprising eyes.

Well, I couldn't blame her! I was never good to her ever since she appeared in my life.

She started to move in uneasiness as if it was too surreal for her to believe that I could help her out.
