Luckily, Asher overheard Kayla's nagging and pleading. He made his way into the room and almost dragged Kayla out of the room before Veronica could be more mad at her. Coming back to meet Veronica, Asher apologized several times telling me that Kayla had become a little nagging after her pregnancy. Veronica understood where her concern lay. Kayla wanted happiness for her brother without noticing that she was forcing Veronica's decision. 

Asher didn't hold her longer after that. They both had a peaceful dinner but Kayla occasionally shot Veronica a pleading glare as if she was asking her to consider Asher's proposal deeply. Veronica pretended like she saw nothing of it. She still had some sort of secret relationship with Blake.
