[ VERONICA'S POV ]

I was crying to my heart's content, completely unbothered by the chaos that was going around. Countless sirens of police cars drove away and started to clear up the crowd who were standing unnecessarily and blocked the spot.

I heard a familiar soft voice from my back,

" Veronica! " 

I was startled, shocked, and stayed in disbelief for a while until I stared up to meet those blue eyes. Blake was looking down at me, a little surprised by my state as he started to stammer confusingly,

" What the fuck are you doing here? You were supposed to stay home."
