Another week had passed since the news of Veronica's engagement with Asher had been announced officially by Veronica's father. Those photographs with Blake were destroyed by Blake's men before they could come out in the news.

Inside the VIP lounge of the City Bar, a program was broadcast on the television around 1 a.m. The girl on the screen was smiling elegantly as the anchor teased her with questions,

" So who chased whom, Miss Knight? Your fans are dying to know about your love life. We have secret news that you both were friends before lovers. Oh my! It should be my fiancee now."

Blake was sitting across the couch as he watched the show for the fifth time probably in a day. After her engagement was announced publicly, this was the first time that she appeared on the TV show. Naturally as a trending celebrity currently, she had to reveal a little information about her love life.
