Chapter 89. It Will All Be Strange

After the doctor checked on Jessie, Din grabbed the handkerchief he had seen next to her and gave it to the doctor. "This is not Jessie's, and it smells strange. Do you think the person used this to try to kill her?"

The handkerchief was scented by the doctor. "It contains drugs. My theory is that whoever did this to her was trying to kill Jessie covertly. If they had succeeded in killing her and an autopsy is taken, the results won't indicate the presence of this kind of drug in the body. You could say that it would show that she passed away naturally."

In actuality, Din wasn't paying attention to what the doctor was saying even though he was. He was only interested in finding out how Jessie was doing, whether she would be alright, and whether she would be able to open her eyes. He feared that he would lose her again.
