Chapter 119

It took some time for her and Leon to become comfortable in that way; she couldn't have imagined how she would feel in his close embrace. She felt as though she was in a safe place as all of her suffering and rage seemed to vanish.

She opened her eyes, and Leon's head was still resting on her shoulder. She smelled the alcohol on Leon's breath, and that's when she realized he was drunk.

"L-Leon.." she said, lightly patting Leon's arm that was clinging to her waist but he didn't seem to pay attention to her.

"L-Leon.." she said again and then she faced Leon.

Leon opened his eyes, his bluish eyes seemed to shine while looking at her, Leon's lips seemed to invite her to touch them.

Leon raised his right hand to caress Celine's cheek. He slowly brought his face closer to Celine's face. He tries to kiss her lips.

Celine was on the verge of shaking as she waited for Leon's lips to touch hers. She touched Leon's cheek as if she agreed with what he wanted to do.<
