I'm laughing, not because I'm having fun, but because I do not know what the hell just happened. Finn flew through a portal and took us into a magical world with flowers taller than trees. And the actual trees are more extensive than skyscrapers, seeming to reach for the skies, and Finn? He turned into a giant in mid-air!

With every ounce of strength in my body, I crawl from beneath Finn's massive hand and grasp for air the minute I'm out. The fairy himself is unconscious, and my leg is broken—fantastic!

I reach for the orb and place it on Finn's chest. The black wolf inside is quiet and staring at my leg. I smile at her and then let my eyes roam to Finn's pointed ears. He looks different now, more fairy-like, with an ethereal glow seeming to come from within his pores.

My heart thuds. Finn might be larger than life, yet it does nothing to change how I feel about him.
