Chapter 25

Rose looked at Antonio who was squinting, underestimating her. She didn't understand what three rounds meant, but it certainly didn't seem easy. Yeah, Antonio couldn't possibly make things easy for Rose Pennington. The woman who had cost him so much money, and the person he suspected of being one of Elliot's henchmen who wanted to set him up. Rose no longer knew how Antonio thought. But his gaze, which had been sharp, now turned like a hungry lion hunting for prey.

"Why are you silent?" Antonio raised one eyebrow. "Are you scared, little girl?" Antonio looked at those innocent eyes with a look of confusion. On the other hand he was sure that there had been a look of hurt there before. But he wasn't so sure either.

"Is this on purpose?" Rose asked then, "You deliberately required those three rounds to make things difficult for me? Because you weren't sure if I was the trap Elliot left behind or not?"
