Chapter 55. Gone

She didn't let me stay in the hospital. She told me that it would only create chaos once her father found out that I stayed there. She also didn't stay the whole night because she told me that when her father woke up, he only ended up pushing Cadence away. Even Colin, her brother, didn't stay for too long, as their father was still letting his pride win instead of talking to them.

In the end, we ended up at my place, and Dahlia was very happy to see her when she woke up in the middle of the night and caught us on the balcony talking about what happened earlier.
