Chapter 54. Not So Soon

I didn't go home right away.

I stayed the whole day with her, and we spent the rest of the afternoon in the field where she took me two years ago. We had a good time, and we even requested a bike so we could stroll around the field. She took pictures of me while I was admiring the view of flowers around me.

The moment we had was wholesome, and when the night came, we made love to each other. That was the first time for us. It felt intimate, and her touch felt so special and delicate on my skin.

We didn't mind what was going to happen, and that day was one of the best days of my life.

The following day, she drove me back home to my apartment. There, I saw Lexie smiling from ear to ear while waiting for me to go home. I already told her that I'm with Cadence, and she cried over the phone call because she's overwhelmed with happiness because I'm back with her.
