You don’t really mean that, you can’t say that to me, not after everything we’ve been through.” I told her, trying not to break down as she sounded so mean to me just now.

“Look, Laura, I don’t know what he told you, but I know you can fight this drug he is using on you. Hear my voice and think of all the good times we spent together. Don’t listen to his lies, Laura, think for yourself and discover the truth.” I pleaded, hoping I got through to her. I could hear his voice in the background as he kept whispering in her ears, telling her not to listen to me because I was trying to trick her.
