Chapter 8. The Girl in Red

POV Nathan 

I had my secretary book a table for us in a Chinese restaurant. I left the office before lunch and headed for the restaurant. As the host, I wanted to be there before her. I’m trying to create a good impression so I have to be on my best behavior, or else I’ll lose this deal with her father. I left my office thirty minutes before our lunch meeting. But just as I stepped out of the building, I heard someone call out to me from behind me, and bi recognized his voice immediately. 

It’s Dilan, and he has this mischievous look on his face that tells me that he has a trick up his sleeve. I thought he wanted to tease me some more or even talk about my divorce with Laura. Who would have thought that he would offer to accompany me to my lunch meeting with Tricia and Hailey?
