Chapter 47

The door opened and they both looked at Pietro as he entered.

"Is ready?"

"I am." Katy replied.

"Fine. I'll drop Emma off at HQ and we'll head straight to the road, okay?"

"Everything's good."

"I'll get your bags." Pietro warned.

Pietro was patient and waited for them in the car.

The girls were talking all the way to the HQ, but when they had to say goodbye, they hugged and Emma wished a good trip back to Katy's hometown, since that would be the final destination.

It wasn't too far from where the gang was concentrated, so they didn't even have to look for a hotel at night. They arrived at the house that had belonged to one of Katy's uncles and that her mother had abandoned at the end of the afternoon, they were able to smile together when they noticed the calm of a place without fights and weapons.

However, of course, both were armed. They left weapons in strategic places and cooked together for the first time to watch something togethe
