Chapter 48
Sebastian was angry. It was late at night and Pietro had told him where Emma was, since the girl simply disappeared and Sebastian didn't find her when he returned home.
As before, he got angry at her for doing something without his permission. It was confusing for Emma how a man thought he owned her, but the lack of conversation, of dialogue between them, made them conflict. And neither Emma nor Sebastian could really express themselves.
"I just went to see a friend." Emma replied.
"You went whining!" he said, tossing one of the couch cushions aside. Emma looked at him, taking a deep breath. "Do you not understand the whole fucking problem?"
