"I made coffee." she held out the cup. "I left some for you. I saw when you left last night, but didn't see when you came back. I assumed you were tired and maybe hung over, so I made it a little stronger than usual."

"I didn't go out drinking." he told. "But would it be okay with you if I had left?" he asked, averting his eyes.

"Of course." she said, calm down. He leaned back and relaxed his body, still admiring the sun. "I feel good having you locked up here."

"You don't make me stay here, I stay because I want to."

"I know… you worry about me, Ramon, I know. Even after I called you a traitor, you're still by my side. But you're young, you're handsome. You can't be my babysitter." she smiled, looking at him. "Need to go out, you know? Drink, meet people?"
