Chapter 30. Demitri's Dark Side

Calix opens the door and holds it for us. Walking in I am in awe, I haven't ever been in a place like this. The glass chandeliers are huge. The whole place is busy, the women look exquisite and expensive, just like the men do.

I can see what Marcello meant, the few places I have been to in the city are either underground places, or just nice. 

We walk through and I ignore everything, just fascinated by the place. We end up in a private room, and Demitri sits pulling me next to him. His head rests against my shoulder, and it is strange. I'm used to his usual self.

"Can you get Alesandro please Mandy?" Calix smiles at the woman as she hands them a drink and me.

"Sure thing Calix. I will go get him now." She turns to walk off and Marcello stops him.

"Don't mention we're here. Just tell him someone wants him. I have a feeling he will run if he knows we're here." Marcello smiles at her and winks.

Nodding she leaves and the door shuts.&
