Chapter 143. Make Me Come Alpha

A menacing growl leaves Jaxon’s chest, “your Luna has requested the room with her mate”, Jaxon replies and I feel a shiver run up my spine from the coldness in his voice. The irritated look now sitting on Alpha Jaxon’s face tells me everything I need to know. He knows Beta Don and I are keeping something from him but I can’t let Beta Don come clean to Jaxon yet, at least. I know how close the two of them are but I also know that Jaxon won’t hesitate to rip out Christian’s throat if he is to find out that his best friend has been sleeping with his sister. Then there’s also the fact that Alpha Christian has announced that he is Sophia’s fated mate but there’s something there that I can’t quite place.
