I watched as Alpha Jaxon left the bedroom, my wolf was screaming - begging for our mate not to leave. The mate bond felt like it was getting stronger and bringing us closer by the second, tangling our needs with one another. Sophia quickly entered exchanging positions with Alpha Jaxon. I wasn’t sure when she found the time to get changed into her red flannel pajamas but I hoped it meant that she didn’t hear the goodbye interaction between her brother and I. I felt my cheeks warm at the mere thought when her eyes met mine.
