Disappointment was evident on her face. However, she quickly recovers, saying, “OK, Alpha, see you at one thirty.”

“Ok, see you,” then continued to my home. Yes, I threw her off track. She is relentless. Let her go to the pack house… She saunters away, and I shake my head.

Here is where the events of the second installment began.

Looking around, I take a head count and am satisfied after confirming that we are all here on time at one thirty am. We quickly got our already-packed gear, then jumped into four waiting vans and an SUV.

I was in the SUV with my Beta, the driver, and three other warriors. I’m in the front, with the driver and the others in the back. Sacha is in the front seat of one of the vans with the lead Warrior, Nathanial driving and four other Warriors in the back.
