Chapter 84. Staggered with Emotion

Aubrianne steeled herself and continued, “He left me for a year. Now I am here, and where is he? Huh? Guess what? Still, he is not here with me!”

Mr. Grey and Daniel both moved like someone had slapped them across the face simultaneously at the fury that spiked in her.

Then Aubrianne could not help but ask, “Is that the reason for the gifts overload?” Then she could not help but add, “It’s pathetic trying to buy me in such a way. I knew there had to be a reason why. The thing is, I so was not expecting this turn of events.” She then exhaled harshly.

She knew she honestly did not know what to expect. However, the thought of Mr. Thornton being her dad did cross her mind. She had simply chosen to shot it down.

Aubrianne did not want to believe he was her father and had said nothing all that time. She did not want to consider it even after all the time that had passed. She was finally here, and where was he?

She refused to believe it because that would mean
