Theo’s POV
Nathan never really reacts. Well, he does, but it’s usually a warning to behave or a quiet promise that punishment’s coming. Most of the time, he threatens to deny pleasure, just enough to remind a brat of their place.
But this time, he ran. Actually ran, which I find hilarious. The last thing he said before bolting made it clear that Harper got through the wall he’s spent years building. And judging by the smug little grin on her face, she knows it too.
She’s straddling my lap, facing me, her eyes bright with mischief. She’s not finished yet, and we both know it. So I lift her off me and hand her to Mason. Let him deal with her for a while. Watching her poke at his control is just as fun.
He turns to glare at me, but I just shrug and lean back.
She shifts easily, settling
