Nathan's POV
I’m trying to pretend like I care about this meeting. I’ve got the numbers in front of me, a pen in my hand, and a look on my face that probably reads like interest, but the truth is I haven’t heard a damn word in the last ten minutes. Everything sounds like static. Useless talk. Sales targets, adjusted projections, mergers, all of it bleeding together into a blur of corporate noise I couldn’t give less of a shit about.
All I can think about is her.
