Nathan’s POV
She’s really doing it. For hours. Right there under the table while we’ve all been going through policies and updates like it’s a regular day. And somehow, out of the dozen people in this room, only Theo noticed.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel a little sorry for him. But I also regret changing seats earlier. If I had stayed where I was, I’d be sitting next to her, and I’d have a much better view of the show.
