Valerie Will POV

The past few weeks have been really overwhelming for me, I didn’t want to open up to anybody about how I was feeling, but Patrick and I finally had a conversation about it.

I still didn’t fully admit that I was stressed because of the pregnancy, but he still insisted on treating me to a little getaway — just the two of us.

He booked a private villa far from the city, tucked away in a quiet town. I was so excited to leave because I actually felt like a distraction from my reality would make me feel a lot better.
