I apologized to Damien for Patrick’s behavior.

Fortunately enough, he was really understanding.

I spent a few more hours with him before heading back home. As I drove past the streets, I couldn’t help but admit that I actually enjoyed Damien’s company.

He was refreshing in a way I hadn’t expected. If I had known, I would have agreed to go out with him a long time ago.

It would have been a completely nice day if Patrick hadn’t shown up at the cafe. When I finally pulled up at the driveway, I decided to stop sharing my location with Patrick.
