Valerie was on birth control while we were married.

So how was it possible that we had a child together?

“Celeste, are you playing with me?” I asked, my tone serious.

“It’s up to you to believe it or not.” She replied, letting out a deep sigh. “You can ask the doctors at the hospital.” She added.

I didn’t know how to feel.
