Summer’s POV
I was stunned as the little lights above us illuminated his sharp features and the coldness in his eyes. The night and Steven seemed aligned so well. He was like an Alpha of Night that many women would crave to have.
Undoubtedly, his argument regarding the meaning of “help” was persuasive. It was a word that shouldn’t be thrown around casually. I firmly believe that when someone offered assistance, they expect you would be forever indebted to them. Consequently, if they were to cause you harm later on, you would not only feel guilt but also the burden of the favour you owe them.
