Ash's POV

I could not believe Riley. She thought apologising to me would solve everything in one go. Was she fucking playing with me? Was that it? And for someone who tried to hide it from our friends….okay, I also tried to hide it from our friends why the fuck would she approach me when Carlos was in my home? When she knew well that Carlos was in my home? Why would she do that? To get attention? I could not understand her.

Carlos tried speaking to me after she left. I was sure he wanted to understand what was going in between Riley and me but there was nothing to talk about. There was absolutely nothing to talk about regarding my relationship with Riley. And maybe it was because I wanted to avoid her and everything that had to do with her that I took the first opportunity to go to a club with Van that night. I should have known that it would be a mistake. I knew deep within that this was the first step to fucking everything up but I was obtuse to the warnings in my head
