The street dea**rs, when questioned or paid, often gave up information. Joel was sure at least one of them would know who had the source. The witches were disjointed in some ways and tightly knit in others. The wolves were sure there was someone out there with the information they needed.

"Back when there were rogue packs," Anthony said, "we started to notice the dea**rs scatter when we got close. I'm afraid there are still dea**rs out there; they are just hiding from us. They seemed to know the difference between human and wolf or pack from rogue."

"You don't look human," I shrugged, "and your security team looks like security."
