Chapter 31. Turn of Events

Edwina, Gregory, Kalen, and Vista frowned upon hearing this and they all looked at Silas with a gaze that spoke of doubt and distrust. However, Silas only rolled his eyes and turned to face Delphine while asking to clear the doubts the others had for him,

"What do you want to speak with me about? You and I have only met never" 

"That's quite true. You and I have never spoken for once, but I have come up with a proposal." Delphine stated with a nod and extreme confidence. 

"A proposal?" Silas was a bit confused. "What proposal?" He asked, corking his head to the side, which caused a strand of his long hair to fall over his shoulder.

"Yes. I have come to offer myself to you." Delphine proclaimed with her gaze fixated on Silas' pale handsome face.

This caused everyone to stare a hole at her head, wondering if Delphine hadn't finally lost it. However, the latter couldn't care any less as to how they felt about her words.
