Chapter 53. Love

" Are you here to mock me?" Gregory asked almost sighing. He kicked his head back and stared at the ceiling in a longing manner. 

" N-no, I dare not! I- I was only concerned about you and have come to see if you're well and fine" Nova recounted in a fidgety tone. She raised her gaze and stared at Gregorys figure with a resolute expression to convey her sincerity. Her cold and indifferent countenance had totally disappeared as she was now but a maiden in front of a one-sided love. She was so fervent and cautious in her conduct that it was obvious what she was doing.

" Why?" Gregory couldn't help but half turn around to ask. He still didn't understand why Nova would go so far.
