Chapter 55. End of Sports Festival

As Edwina rushed down the hallway out of the building. She remembered how Silas, with a deep breath, had summoned his courage and gazed into her eyes as he began to confess. His words were spilled forth in a torrent of vulnerability and sincerity that she could feel in the way he grasped her hands.

Silas had just confessed his deep-seated feelings for her, laying bare his soul and hoping against hope that she feels the same way and Edwina was still taken aback that it had happened.
