Chapter 54. Confession

In the vacant classroom, Silas and Edwina sat side by side in a chair as they stared at the board in front with several magic symbols written on it.

" I, Gregory and Nova go a long way back. We were friends since childhood until we were promised to each other by our parents..." Edwina paused to think when she suddenly came to a realization. Since her head had cleared now, she started to notice a problem.

Nova had stopped speaking with her around that time when she was betrothed to Gregory. They had fights every time after that and she would only come back to settle it with her. 

" I and Nova stopped speaking soon after we came to the academy. I have no idea why she did so." Edwina said. She still didn't understand but she knew it had something to do with Gregory being with her. After all, she wouldn't have come to kiss him in front of her today if that wasn't the case. Edwina believed this was something that went deeper than she thought.
