Chapter 9. Botany Class

“ Thinking about it… When you remove an ant from a plant. Doesn’t that mean it leaves?”

Edwina rolled her eyes at Gelder as he muttered to himself. If he’d said this out loud, everyone would rather cry than let out a laugh as he probably intended.

Having returned to class just as Ms Merrigold had instructed, Edwina found herself sitting next to the class clown, and…

“ What’s with the long face?” the ever-excited Kalen who sat to Edwina’s left asked in a hush when she noticed the look on Edwina’s face.

“ Nothing” Edwina sighed still lost in thought about everything that had happened today. It was all a chain of disaster right after another. She was totally exhausted.

Worse was, the three new guys whom she'd just met today and reacted strangely to earlier, were in class and stared a hole at her. Edwina tried her best to hide her gaze from them. Though, she felt that if they took their eyes off her then she might kill them.
