Chapter 49. Jealousy

As soon as Allison left the room, he was greeted by Jacob.

Jacob was smiling from ear to ear, his jaw was even dropped making him look like a fool as she joked to Allison, “will there be Noah the second?”

Allison’s face immediately turned red. Jacob was asking her things she didn't expect; and it would possibly mean one thing – Jacob knew what happened inside the room and he was lying when he told her that Brent is fetching Ellie.

Brent intrudes with the conversation. He finally caught up with Allison. He put his arms around her and said, “nothing yet. Don’t worry,” with a playful smirk, looking directly at Allison.

“This is planned out, isn’t it?” Allison’s suspicion was strong. She glared at Jacob who just laughed when Brent told, “no, we’re just really destined for each other so this is happening. Destiny itself would always find its way for us.”

Brent even said that while his hands were in his pocket, feeling proud. Then Jacob stopped laughing
