Chapter 141
Sabrina's POV
Everyone in the pack used the same code for their garages, phones, etc, to make things easier for everyone, so I typed it in without pause:
Twelve-twelve.
Dax’s phone had one of the generic screensavers the company installed when they made it, and even the way his apps were set up in specific groups based on their purpose was pretty boring.
I hit the button to look at his pictures and scrolled through. There weren’t many; seemed like he only had a handful of pictures for the last six years of his life, and they were all of him and various members of his pack. It looked like they’d been hiking, or out doing something else during each of the pictures. I saw them outside an escape room, a haunted house, at a lake, on a beach, at an ice-skating rink…
Damn, the pack did a lot of stuff together.
I wanted that—I wanted to be a part of it.
But… Dax didn’t want me before he knew we were mates.
So did I really want him?
