Emily’s POV

Years later…

Thomas did not survive. He died upon arrival at the hospital. It took me several months to recover. I felt guilty for his death, I blamed myself for everything that happened. I didn’t want to see anyone. I remained cloistered in my room, not wanting to speak to anyone. Andrew, Elisa, Natasha, Hugo, Mark, and even grandfather came to see me every day, but I refused to talk to them. I had to accept everything that happened.

Today, I am the happiest with the four loves of my life. Andrew and our three children. The eldest is fourteen, his name is Thomas, in homage to my savior.
