Chapter 26
A week since that day, Clyde and I haven't seen each other in a week. We were in the same house, but we were as far apart as the air. Even when we fought, nothing happened to Clyde and me.
As he put it, I can't get out of here until I have a yacht. Where can I obtain it?
I merely spent my time walking around the house and its surroundings. Today I intend to take a dip in the sea. I've been here for a week and still haven't been allowed to swim in the sea. Instead of grumbling, I'll just enjoy myself on this island.
As I slowly descended into the sea, I was only wearing shorts and a large t-shirt. It's freezing outside.
The sea is crystal clear and pristine. I just grinned as I continued to read myself.
I hope this is how my life turns out. Peaceful and quiet. Get away from the shambles. If given the opportunity, I would like to reside here with my son. But I know that is highly unlikely.
