Chapter 27
I heard a helicopter approaching where we were. I grimaced and followed the helicopter that was heading to this house's rooftop.
I dashed out of the room to see who had arrived. Clyde and I almost collided, but I ignored him. I immediately walked to the rooftop and looked at who was on board the chopper. A woman dressed in a doctor's gown appeared, whom I believe was in her 40s. But when I saw who walked out next, my eyes widened. Clyde's mother, Madam Eleanor, followed.
When Ma'am saw me, her face instantly brightened.
"Nathania!" Ma'am exclaimed, approaching me. He embraced me tightly. My eyes began burning on both sides. I want to cry because ma'am hugged me; even if she's Clyde's mother, I'm grateful since she's one of the individuals who is concerned about me.
"M-Ma'am..." I replied quietly.
It moved away from me and gave me a dirty look. "What did I say about you calling me? Call me aunt, not ma'am!"
My cheeks were burning. "Sorry, ma'
