Chapter 37

I adjusted Clyde's neck tie when I noticed how difficult it was for him to arrange himself in front of the mirror.

"Thank you," he said with a smile and a kiss on the lips.

"Where are we going?" I said, hugging him from behind as we stood in front of the mirror together.

"We're heading to Lucifer's company for a meeting."

"Why are you taking me with you?" I inquired, causing him to smile.

"I might miss you right away, so I'll take you with me." I chuckled and kissed his cheek in response to his response.

"Let's go," he said, taking my hand in his.

We left Clyde's condo together. He's been taking me to the condo since we got back from the island. He stated that he did not want to take me home because we had many negative memories there.
