Chapter 14. Trust

I turned to the side, seeing Sebastian as he walked towards me. His blue eyes were sparkling in amusement as he stared at my shocked expression.

“How…” I cleared my throat and met his eyes. “How did you know what I was thinking?”

I didn’t like anyone using tricks on me. And how could I have not noticed his sudden appearance? I must have been too caught up with the paintings. Or he’s just sleek like that.

I frowned at the Beta, but he just smiled, his dimple showing. “We’re packmates now. I can mind link you as much as you can mindlink me. Through that, I can hear what you have in mind.”

My eyes widened slowly, realizing what he just said.
