Chapter 13. Lineage

I exhaled a breath the moment the doors closed. My eyes went to the clothes on the table. I touched it and saw it wasn’t like the servant’s clothes I had from the Omega house. Those weren’t that shaggy and bad, they were the same ones I had in the House. But these ones looked new and expensive. The other Omegas and Maddie would for sure notice when I wear this.

But looking at my bathrobed form, I couldn’t not wear them.

I grabbed the clothes in my hand and made sure the door was locked. I stripped out of the black bathrobe I wore, once again seeing how I didn’t have a single bruise in my body as evidence of last night’s events. He really healed me. I couldn’t possibly do this to myself. But again, why? Why the cold and hot treatment?

I shook my head away from those thoughts. I hurried and decided to stop thinking much about everything that’s stressing me out. Last night was emotional and draining enough.
