Chapter 119. Futile Attempts
The angry rant had turned to a wail and Lisa sat on the edge of the bed, crying. Sinclair sat beside her and she did not move away from him. He did not make any attempt to console her. He was after all, the reason behind her tears. So he just sat there, watching her cry out her pains.
Yes, he had done her terribly bad and if he wanted her to forgive him, she would have to let out all the pain she had bottled up inside. Sinclair waited patiently and he did not know for how long he had waited but finally the sobbing subsided and Lisa wiped her face. She lifted her eyes and looked at him.
“So now, what exactly do you want me to do for you?” she asked him and he sucked in a deep breath.
“I just need you to forgive me,” he told her. “That is all I want from you.”
“That is out of the question Sinclair,” Lisa told him. “I have known you almost all my life and have studied you to like a course in the university. I know you even more than you can think. So I ask again
