Chapter 185. Not Just a Misunderstanding
Lisa stood before her wardrobe, carefully folding and arranging her clothes into it. The task felt soothing, a momentary escape from the world outside her small room. She had spent the entire morning in a state of quiet, her mind replaying the conversation she had overheard between Sinclair and Hilda earlier. She had hoped it was a misunderstanding, hoped that Sinclair had changed, but deep down, she knew the truth.
