Max's Pov

At every word Drizella uttered, Max's heart shattered into a million fragments. Yes, he hated her, but still, he found himself falling for her again innocently like he once did.

"They must love each other, don't you think?" Nina asked him as she locked her hands with his. Her gaze drifted to Max, who seemed distracted by Jose's fiancee.

"Do you know her?" She asked, wishing he would stop staring at Drizella like he was drawn to her.

Nina has been in love with Max since the very first time she met him three years ago, on her twentieth birthday, but he never looked at her the way he is staring at the woman next to Jose.

A surge of jealousy gleamed in her eyes; she wished she was Drizella, maybe then, he would look at her like he looks at Drizella.
