Pandora's POV


Every stride he took away from her infuriated her. Like a deserted lamb she felt abandoned. Her wailing did nothing, Max was walking away like someone who was deaf.

Shivers of great fear rushed through her spines, Jose had almost ripped her of the only thing she now holds dear-Antonio.

She followed behind Maximilian thinking he was merely avoiding her. But to her surprise, he was heading towards the ward closer to Antonio's.

"Did he know Antonio was shot?" She muttered to herself but didn't stop trailing behind. Every stride made her question Maximilian's intentions.
