Chapter 29
"Babe, I'm home." Max said cheerfully as he came in.
"In here," Kathleen answered from the kitchen startling Max who was about checking her in the bedroom.
"Kathleen," Max said surprised to see her on her feet and cooking.
"You should be on your wheelchair. Not standing around or cooking." Max scolded his wife.
"I feel fine, stop nagging." She said sharply which prompted Max to ask her what happened.
"You look upset babe, what happened?" Max asked obviously concerned.
"I can't find my ID." She complained.
"ID?" Since when?" Max asked at a loss.
"I normally carry it around but I have searched all over, I can't find it." she said in distress.
"Calm down, I'll help you search for it." he promised.
"Now leave the kitchen. Although I'm happy you're fully okay, I still need you to rest for a few more days to be sure." he told her gently.
"Go watch some movies while I cook instead." he shooed her away.
