Chapter 44

Hurriedly Max ran out of the hospital straight to the court. There was traffic which frustrated him. He can't remember how many times he pressed down on his car's horn. But still, he arrived at the court an hour and thirty minutes late.

When he got there he found his wife strutting by the entrance. She looked well-dressed up in a pink dress and two-inch heels. Her skin was flawless. When their gaze met he waved at her so she would know he was there.

He rushed to where she was, shameful for his act.

"You didn't have your bath?" She questioned him.

"I had to come as soon as you called. I didn't find you anywhere; I went to the hospital, and you weren't on duty." Max went on his knees immediately.
