Selena let out a sigh. “My grandfather will not have me killed even if he discovers I am a werewolf.” 

“Be careful what you say. He could be your grandfather, but from what I have seen around here, I think he hates werewolves.”

Selena motioned with her hand in the air. “We have no idea. Based on what I saw, I believe he is attempting to protect himself from werewolves. Perhaps they have previously attacked him or entered his home. Werewolves can be dangerous at times, so I do not blame him for using this substance to protect his home.” She inhaled deeply. “I believe it is time to question him about what he put in front of his house.”

“What? I am simply curious. He will not even realize I know.” 

“But you should not be the one to ask. Make sure that the others bring it up first.”
