Chapter 91. Max Changed Her Mind

I have to get the box out of her room before she finds anything. “Go, go!” Selena gave her friends a gentle push as they got out. She walked out and found her way to Isabel’s room. 

It wasn’t easy given that it was far away inside. It was also incredibly large and decorated. Her mother loved princesses and princes, something she never would have imagined. She appeared more like an experienced lady who enjoys nothing but wine. She leaned forward and extended her hand beneath the mattress. When her hand touched something, Selena dragged it out. It was the box Hania had mentioned to her. Walking out of her mother’s room, she carried it quietly. 

Selena entered her father’s room, placed the box on the bed, and began to empty it. Though she is not sure what she was searching for, this box undoubtedly brought back memories. She noticed a book. She grabbed it, opened it, and started to read. Isabel wrote in her diary, “Dear diary.” Mom had kept a journal.
